HISTORY & FOUNDER

The "Mercy moim Foundation" was registered in 2021 and has been in operation for over 1 year 4 months. The foundation draws its name and Inspiration from Pro Athlete and Olympic champion Mercy Moim who plays & flies the Kenyan national flag at the Kenya National womens Volleyball national team [Malkia Strikers] for the past 15 years, being its mission leader on the court as Team Captain

The inspiration and intention to start the foundation is solely a vision of mercy moim who is the brand ambassador and chief brand officer

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

Mission

To enable talented young men and women love sports, and view it as an empowering avenue towards livelihood and a force for good.

By using Volleyball the foundation intends to mentor-up future leaders of the beautiful game, and the society in general.

Vision

To become the premier and preferred foundation that provides opportunities to youths, and enhance their sporting prowess in becoming better sports men and women.

Objectives

Through sports activities and events run outreach programs that provide platforms to educate young women on sexual reproductive health.
To forster peaceful co-existence and run peace campaigns in vulnerable communities in Kenya.
Educational, mentorship, and leadership programs.
